The Parser and Writer for Syntax (PAWS) has two purposes. The Writer produces about a 100 page long rough draft of a grammar of the syntax of your language, based on the answers to the questions in each section of PAWS. The Parser produces all the files needed for using the PC-PATR syntactic parser for parsing and disambiguation within FieldWorks Language Explorer or CARLA Studio. For both the Writer and the Parser, we expect PAWS to cover about 80% of what a language needs.

The Greek Room is a project to improve the quality and efficiency of Bible translation with software tools that help translators and quality control consultants with spell-checking, terminology consistency, translation drafting and other tasks.

The Combine is an easy-to-use tool for Rapid Word Collection (RWC)—a method of gathering words to serve as the backbone for a bilingual dictionary. At the heart of RWC are native speakers from a language community who, considering one semantic domain at a time, provide all words they can think of in their language related to that domain. The Combine facilitates collection of these words, along with translations, audio recordings, and notes, to more fully capture their form and meaning.

Hummingbird is a platform for collaborative participation in the conceptualization, development and monitoring of Bible translation projects. Its questions are intended to foster a participatory design that serves the churches, ministries and language communities. It is the primary tool for Field Coordinators.

Parabible is a web application that makes it easy to search for collocated terms by various morphological tags.

TECkit is a low-level toolkit intended to be used by other applications that need to perform encoding conversions (e.g., when importing legacy data into a Unicode-based application).
